Typically Domain Admins do NOT have the ability to open other mailboxes
without specifically changing this is Exchange System Manager and it is not
an obvious thing to do. So unless you specifically did this you do not have
the necessary permissions to open other mailboxes. This right is
specifically denied to the person who installed Exchange. But like Mark said
leave the M drive alone. That is the reason that MS removed the M drive from
showing up in Exchange 2k3 because people were backing it up and messing
with it and basically shooting themselves in the foot. Use Outlook to open
other mailboxes as necessary. This is not what the M drive was designed to
do.
