Hi,
You can look up the MX record for the domain you are trying to send to.
Then telnet on port 25 and try to manually send a message as per 153119
XFOR: Telnet to Port 25 to Test SMTP Communication
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=153119
If you are able to send mail to other domains but are unable to manually
send a message to the remote domain then more than likely there's a problem
with the remote server.
Verify that you have the appropriate A, MX and PTR records for your email
domain and exchange server. This will rule out any issues sending to a
remote server that is performing a reverse DNS lookup prior to accepting
SMTP mail.
Best Regards,
Miyuki Ryan
