Good afternooon,
Ex 2000 SP3 + August Rollup
Win2K SP4
We have a public folder with a SMTP address assigned to it. Occasionally,
e-mails sent using this SMTP address fail to get delivered, and a NDR is
delivered to the public folder. After determining the cause of the
non-delivery, we manually delete the NDR e-mail from the public folder.
However, when we do so, an error is generated in the Exchange Server's App
Log (I've included an example below). Why is this happening and what am I
missing?
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS Public Store
Event Category: Transport Delivering
Event ID: 2028
Date: 10/7/2004
Time: 1:32:33 PM
User: N/A
Computer: MYEXCHANGESERVER
Description:
