Hi,
We have 2 Exchange 2000 servers, both SP3. One of which accepts incoming
mail from our ISP via an SMTP feed. Until recently all had been working
fine but in the last week the server appears to stop reveiving mail from the
feed for some reason?
When it is in this state you can still telnet to port 25 both internally and
externally? Its only when the server is rebooted that the mails will start
to come in from the queue or directly. The hardware is less than 12 months
old and has 1Gb of RAM.
What I have noticed in that the store.exe process eats away at the memory?
The other day it was 800Mb in size?!
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do to test the
server when in this state, ie manually send an SMTP mail to see what it
says?
Thanks in advance.
Stuart.
