    This might not be your problem. From your server's console, resolve the IP
    address of that domain's remote SMTP service (NSLOOKUP -q=mx
    thatdomain.com), then try to TELNET to that server's port 25 to see if the
    remote server will accept a connection. This will usually work unless they
    have a firewall that can catch that type of TELNET connection.

    They may be having firewall or connectivity issues.
