Hi Kuyu,
You will need to find out what version of the evaluation copy you have
(Standard or Enterprise) by doing the following:
1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. In the root of the C:\ drive, open the Exchange Server Setup
Progress.txt file
3. Locate the line that says "Setup configuration information:"
4. The line below "Setup configuration information" will tell you whether
this is a Standard/Enterprise edition of the evaluation copy.
You can install the retail Exchange 2000 Enterprise Server product over the
expired evaluation Standard or Enterprise version. You cannot install the
retail Exchange 2000 Server Standard version over the evaluation Exchange
2000 Enterprise Server version.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
Miyuki Ryan
