I'm trying to remove the last exchange server 5.5, by following the
Microsoft Knowledge base article Q284148. Every thing works fine until I
come to step 12. When I try to connect to the exchange 2000 server, with
the exchange server 5.5 admin tool, I get an error message. It doesn't
mater which server I'm trying connect from (exchange 5.5 or 2000). The
message is as flows: "A connection could not be made to the Microsoft
Exchange Server computer 'MAIL'. The Microsoft Exchange Server computer
does not respond. Microsoft Exchange Directory ID no:
DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM".
All the information has been moved to the exchange 2000 sow there is
nothing left on the exchange 5.5. Is there any way to come around this
problem, or is it possible to remove the exchange 5.5 manually??
All of the Exchange services are running! Even the srs!
Any other form of trouble shooting I can do on srs?
