Check the properties of the queue in question. From the General tab, check
the Status box.
If Status says this
-----
Then do this
Unable to bind to destination server in DNS
-----
Troubleshoot the DNS issue. Is the receiving domain valid?
Connection was dropped by the remote host
-----
Troubleshoot the connectivity issue.
An SMTP Protocol error occurred
-----
The receiving server dropped the connection because of a rule. This may be
the result of an open relay or a dial-up/cablemodem IP address or missing
reverse DNS record. Many ISPs block these. Get a reverse DNS record (a.k.a.
PTR or pointer record) created by your ISP if it doesn't exist.
http://dnsstuff.com is a good site to check this.
Hopefully that is enough for you to start with. Please post your results or
should you have any additional questions.
