We receive a large number of emails from a company we
deal with. Recently we have had a problem receiving their
emails. They come into our server but are delivered to
the System Administrator instead of the correct person
(they are addressed correctly).
I spoke to the IT team of this company and after a long
time we found out that if they removed their company
footer then the emails were delivered correctly.
All the footer contains is a company disclaimer (inside a
row of *) and some website addresses. They use
MIMEsweeper.
We have no filtering or spam filters setup on our server
and we dont check for Reverse DNS Lookup.
I dont see why the Footer would effect email delivery
does anyone have any ideas. Any help would really be
appreciated.
We have no problem sending them emails or
sending/recieving emails from anyone else. It has
something to do with their company footer.
