====Hello all
I am trying to remove the first exchange 2000 server from the site. I
followed the 307917 document to the letter. Now I am getting these errors
every 5 minutes

8207
Error updating public folder with free-busy information on virtual machine
NEWSERVER. The error number is 0x80004003.
8197
Error initializing session for virtual machine NEWSERVER. The error number
is 0x80040111. Make sure Microsoft Exchange Store is running.

I have been looking for days and found a bunch of posts and situations that
were similiar but none those stories and corresponding solutions panned out
for me. I also ran dsadiag.exe and all is well, turned up DSaccess logging
and all looks good there to: some output

Process MAD.EXE (PID=1384). DSAccess has discovered the following servers
with the following characteristics:
 (Server name | Roles | Reachability | Synchronized | GC capable | PDC |
SACL right | Critical Data | Netlogon)
In-site:
dc2.dukece.com CDG 7 7 1 1 1 1 7
dc1.dukece.com CDG 7 7 1 0 1 1 7
 Out-of-site:

dsadiag.exe
Working DC's:

UP FAST DOWN InSync Name

X X X dc2.dukece.com
X X X dc1.dukece.com

Working GC's:

UP FAST DOWN InSync Name

X X X dc2.dukece.com
X X X dc1.dukece.com

Config DC:
                       dc2.dukece.com
Done

some more info, The original exchange server is still up and running,
afraid to remove it until these errors go away. I also have a FE server
running the OWA portion. My DC's are on seperate boxes. Only exchange is
installed on the exchange server boxes, and no file level antivirus is
installed. No errors on the DC's in the event logs, and no errors on the
old exchange server.

Thanks for looking at this
