Hi there,
I have a question about email flowing in a single site, single organization:
>> we have first exchange server called MAIL, also MX record is 10, but we
stopped the "Anonymous" authentication in SMTP, so the incoming
mails are from mail gateway junkmail filtering server with MX record is 5.
>> if we add second exchange server to the site & organization, do we need
to do any thing else or the mail-gateway transfering incoming emails to MAIL
then MAIL will transfer the incoming emails to second exchange ?
>> We plan in close future that we will retire the MAIL, so the second
exchange
server will either forward its outgoing mails to mail-gateway or sending out
by itself.
And we will add the receiving mail server on our mail-gateway that 2nd
exchange will
be receiving incoming emails.
Thanks,
Any input will be greatly appreciated!!!
