Hello to everyone,
some users in our company can't accept sent calendar items.
These users are working with Outlook 2000 and access our Exchange 2000
server via POP3.
They get an eMail like this:
"...
Zeit: Montag, 17. September 2007 00:00 bis Samstag, 29. September 2007
00:00
(GMT+01:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rom, Stockholm, Wien.
Ort: Neu/26.9/28.9

Microsoft Outlook Web Access:

"
The user can't accept the appointment wheter by clicking on the OWA link
nor
by opening an attachment (which isn't showed under Outlook 2000 client
software, but it appears with another eMail client).
What can i do to correct this?
Is there an opportunity to accept calendar appointments with pop3 clients
(using Oultook 2000)?
Thank you for help & kind regards,
Karl-Heinz Fuchs
POP can only handle very basic email messages, so any special 'groupware'
features (like Appointments, Tasks, etc.) will not be handled properly.
Basically, you will only see the subject, sender, and text body. The OWA
link probably doesn't work because it includes the local computer name,
which can't be accessed off the LAN.
Lee.
