Re: Outlook rules error

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hey Guys, I had a simular issue where I had both local and server based
rules; I mad the error of accepting to keep the rules from my remote
server once while conected from out-of-state which created the issue of
the same error message you guys are getting.

To resolve my issue we used the MDB Viewer (mdbvu32.exe), this utility
goes deep into MS Exchange, in this case we have Exchange 2000.

When I looked in my mailbox, it showed all of the rules I had in
triple, which meant no more space, even after I deleted them several
times.

If you want I can somewhat give you a step by step on how to use the
utility mdbvu32.exe (I am only suggesting, use mdbvu32.exe at your own
risk).

Good luck.
BTW - None of the Microsoft suggested solutions worked.

Hello all,

I am seeing an error when trying to add a new rule with Outlook. It
states "One or more rules cannot be uploaded to the Exchange server and
have been deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are
not supported or there is insufficient
space to store all your rules". Currently, this pops up after 5 rules
and they are all server based rules.

Has anyone else seen this error? If so, how did you reslove this? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Greg
