I have come across something that I was hoping someone would clear
up. I want someone to access someone else's inbox. I go to the inbox
permission and the add the user as a delegate. I give them reviewer
permission as I just want them to see my e-mails. Then in AD I add
the user in the mailbox rights and give them read permission on the

The thing is, is that the user just sees my inbox and not the
subfolders. I have tried giving them owner permission but they still
cannot see the subfolders. I don't want them to have full mailbox
access but can't believe that I would have to go through all the
subfolders and assign permisson to each one.
Surely this is an annoyance for a lot of people of this is the case.
Can anyone explain to me the best method of just giving someone
access to just the inbox + subfolders.

I'm presuming that this user has added your mailbox to his/her Outlook
profile in the Advanced tab of the Exchange server properties, and they
can't see the subfolders bv expanding the folder.
I don't think there's any way in Outlook's permissions window to apply the
same sharing permissions to all subfolders, so your assumption that you need
to apply the settings to the subfolders is likely correct. However, as this
is not an Exchange thing but an Outlook thing, you might try posting in
m.p.outlook. All you can do in Exchange is grant full mailbox rights, which
is more than you want.
