Re: Public Store question

Hi Msadexchman,

In Exchange 2k and 2k3 you can have multiple Public folder Hierarchies
(tress). Each new Tree that you create is an Application tree and is only
accessible via non-MAPI means. What Tree a public folder store is
associated with is defined by the value you are looking at "Associated
public folder tree". The only way to "change" this value is to remove the
public folder store completely and create a new one that is associated with
the correct public folder tree.

Please note that you can only have one Public folder store per server per
tree. So if you have another public folder store already on this server and
it is associated with the MAPI tree then the other public folder store is
"extra" and you may want to determine if it is being used before removing
it.

Hope this Helps,
