SMTP - Inbound TLS
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
I am using Exchange 2000 and Windows Server 2000 IIS SMTP for Gateway which
resides in DMZ. I am required to configure Outbound and Inbound TLS
encryption with one of our clients. I have added a connector on Exchange
server for the Outbound TLS. The problem is that I am not sure how to
properly configure TLS on the Gateway’s SMTP. My understanding is that if I
check the TLS on the virtual server or add another virtual server I will not
be able to receive anything that is no TLS encrypted. I need to be able to
receive encrypted mail only from one external domain.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dominik.
