Hi all,
We have two Exchange 2K3 servers with 2GB of RAM each. When we upgraded from
Exchange 2000 we added the /3GB switch in boot.ini. However for the past
couple of weeks the backup of Exchange is getting slower. Then we decided to
remove the /3GB switch to see if that will improve. The first day after the
removal the speed of backing up local mailstore improves quite a bit (almost
2 times faster)
Will it be okay if I leave the /3GB switch out of boot.ini? I mean, will
Exchange 2K3 affected without this /3GB switch, given the amount of RAM our
servers have?
Thanks,
.
