If the RAID controller is the same model (5i for Example), you can just slip
the drives in and it will read the config from the drives and boot up.
If its a different model you may run into some issues.
I recently blew the 5i card in a server and could not get a replacement in a
timely manner so I went with a 5300 series. The drivers are NOT the same so
I had to put all the drives in another server with a 5i and put the 5300
card in there as well. THEN boot off the 5i, let Windows detect the 5300,
then put the 5300 and the drives back in the original server and run with
it. Mine was an unusual case and required a few hours time with HP on the
phone to get going.
