Replace RAID controller in exchange server

Hi All,

We are in the process of replacing the system board in our exchange 2000
server (compaq ml370), which has an onboard raid controller, which our disks
is connected to. We are going to be using the same kind of board; we've been
noticing some problems with the server and have found the board to be the
problem. Right now it has 4 disks in a raid 5 configuration, both windows
and e2k databases/transaction logs are on the same volume. My question is,
how will the new system board/raid controller know about my current raid
set? I have a backup of my system state, and exchange databases, but would
prefer to change this board without having to restore w2k and e2k. Is there
a way to do this and if so, how?

thanks.
