Import Outlok.pst into Echange mailbox?

I currently have a XP Professional 2003 and Outlook 2003client using a mail
account from a 3r party application.

I have changed the path, so that all client/user information (Data File
Management) goes into a mailbox store, that I set up, on a Domain Server.

Now I am implementing a new Windows 2003 Enterprise Server and a Windows
2003 Standard Server with MS Exchange 2003.

Am I correct in following the below procedure?
NOTE: Both Servers are up and running and communicating with each other. Now
I plan to take the following action:

Having setup the users with their "Roaming Client" options, I will copy all
Profile and Home information from the Old Server (W2kSBS) to the New Win
2003 Server. this should pick up all the user information when I attach the
clients and logon.

Now having set up the Exchange Mailboxes for all, I will setup Outlook 2003
with the new Exchange E-mail Account, removing the Old POP 3 account. I will
continue to use the re-directed Data File to store my new E-mail coming into
Exchange.

At another step, I plan to backup and import the PST file to the Exchange
Mailbox. I have tested this and it seems to work ok.

Does everyone agree with my approach?

Another question is relative to Cached Address Book - Will it work with the
old structure using the re-directed path or does it only activate when I
have the Exchange Mailbox and Store implemented for the user?

Thanks ahead

John
