The 500 error isn't enough to diagnose the problem, I'm afraid - it just
tells the user that there was some kind of program error at the server end.
Is there any other error message on the screen? If not, make sure that
'friendly http errors' are turned OFF in the browser settings (if it's IE),
or have a look in the IIS logs, or the Event logs.
