Just finished with an migration from ex5.5 to ex2000.
Everything went well. Under ex5.5, a related company was
providing web-based access for our customers through an
external (non exchange) web interface. The login
consisted of a regular username/password and it worked
fine. Since the upgrade to exchange 2000 their web
interface into the new server will only work with a
username being the entire email address and regular
password. Instead of using username, username@domain.com
is required.
Does anyone know how to enable authentication with just
the username and password, where the default domain name
is already choosen? (we use ssl and tried basic
authentication with our domain as the default, no luck)
Does anyone have completely web-based login form for
exchange 2000 OWA? I am currently submitting through a
form that activates the popup authentication box. It
works, but the other would be preferable.
Thanks,
Bill
