Hi Glenn,
Unfortunately as security gets tighter it makes our job of moving
information tougher. A great solution for you is to use WebDAV. This is HTTP
on Steroids and supports HTTPS as well. It works just like FTP but is much
more secure and Flexible. A WebDAV site is a simple Website with WebDav
enabled. You can then connect to the site by doing the following.
1. Open Internet explorer
2. Click File
3. Click Open
4. Type in the Http/https url in the open as folder box
5. Enter in Credentials
6. Internet Explorer open site just as if you where in Explore so you can
copy and past file up or down.
One last note if you are using windows server 2003 IIS is not installed by
default and after you install IIS you have to enable the WebDAV service
extension.
