The attachment is actually being replaced with a text file called
deleted0.txt which says
File attachment: test.zip
The file attached to this email was removed
because the file name is not allowed. This is the same whether I use outlook
or OWA so I guess it's server side. I had a look in the registry
(HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeWeb\OWA) but zip is not
listed in either level 1 or level 2 File types. Is there a similar registry
list for normal outlook clients? The other suspect here is Symantec, but I
thought this would scan files rather than prevent file types. Thanks for your
help.
