Thanks Leif, I'll give these a try. I tried the best practices analyzer and
some of what it suggests requires a reboot, I'll have to do that over the
weekend.

Hi,
I'm running Exchange version 6.5.7226 with Outlook 2003 and recently I'm
starting to see messages pop up on the workstations that read:
Microsoft Office Outlook
Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft Exchange Server
<myserver.mydomain>
This just started recently and I can't recall changing anything on the
server side. The only thing I can think of on the workstations is we are
running automatic updates on Windows Update. There are no messeges
recorded in the event logs of either the server or the workstations. Any
suggestions what could be causing this or what to do to trouble shoot it?
Anyone seen this before? Everything else on my network seems to be
working fine.
Thanks in advance,
Linn
