We have exchange 2000 running on a windows 2000 server
box. Suddenly, no one can send internet email. Internal
email works fine and we can REVEIVE internet email but we
can not send. All get returned to the sender.
I've checked the 7 Exchange services and they all seem to
be running/started. I've looked through the Exchange
System Manager and things appear to be ok. When i look at
the Event Viewer, it has many "Errors" stating that
the ""Registration of the DNS Record failed with the
following error: DNS Server unable to interpret format"".
I can ping the DNS server just fine. I'm lost. if
anyone can help i'd appreciate it.
    thanks
    Dan...
