I tried posting this in another forum but I am not sure
where it really fits. It is interoperability to a point
but my next choice would be connectivity.
I am attempting to setup synchronization between 3
Exchange Orgs, specifically Schedule free/busy only.I have
been speaking with our local MS rep but no one appears to
have any experience (hands on).
The 2 technologies I am looking at are the InterOrg
replication utility and posting free/busy to the public
Micsoroft server. There are political issues surrounding
the latter and prefer to stay on the topic of InterOrg but
for personal interest sake if anyone has any
comments/experience with the MIcrosoft server I'd be happy
to hear about it more.
I have read that there is limited to no support due to the
fact that the utility is free. Free also tells me that
Microsoft probably didn't feel that the utility was good
enough to charge for. A couple of big red flags right out
of the gate but like I said would prefer to hear from
someone who has put this into production and has an acutal
case study to back them up either way.
Thanks in advance.
..Dan
