I'd still recommend something that can do stateful inspection. You can pick
up a NetGear FR114P for about $80 US. NAT alone is not much more protection
than a screen door. No firewall is bombproof, but I'd rather be
overcautious, myself.

DHCP on the Windows server will also work better with your AD-integrated
DNS/dynamic registration, AFAIK.

OK, but note that you don't need a static IP - see www.dyndns.org - not a
problem.
