I have one registered occurance of this happening out of 120 users on
our Exchange 2000 box. On 9/11 she received 4 emails from people
within our internal network from 9/1. Any idea how or why it would
occur?

Exchange Server name doesnt match RDNS lookup ... When my emails are sent out from my Exchange 2003 server, they are sent out from our internal network, using the name bark.iwafibp.ca as our internal server. ... When they are outside of our internal network, if a reverse DNS lookup is done, there is no bark.iwafibp.ca in existence, so it says it can't find our server. ...
