I have not seen any issues in running this setup, we did this for sometime
before we upgraded our servers. The one thing I would tell you to be aware
of with 2003 client, is if you use cache mode you might see some interesting
things related to OAB downloads. We had some instances where OAB downloads
impacted our network. Alot of these issues continued until we could get our
OAB generation server on Exchange 2003 SP1.
