Yeah, call centres aren't really the best place for Exchange. The
costs can be quite high for CALs and when the users are only likely to
be in email for a few minutes a day to check updates and instructions
it's a waste. When I used to work with call centre designers we used
to give the agents 4MB mailbox limits and an absolute attachment ban.
Anything went on SharePoint or standard websites and links were
published. Seeing several thousand mailboxes on a server, each with
between 2 and 3MB of mail is a sight to behold!
I'm not sure the supervisors and managers are going to be terribly
pleased about it though. Keep your head down for a while.
