Hi,
Can you telnet to port 25 on the xyz server from the server where the queue
is?
If yes it might be a problem with name resolution if you have changed
something on the SMTP virtuel server (like the FQDN or the masquarade
domain). The winroute program should tell you what the problem is. It can be
downloaded from Microsoft.

I have five exchange servers, 2 are clustered. The Queues on the BE
server are fine except at the bottom of the Queue Viewer, a queue
growing pointing to server XYZ. I looked at the queue on XYZ the
queues are fine. The growing queue on the Clustered BE server brings
the status to CRITICAL. I restarted the WMI service on the BE clustered
server, the Critical status changed to available. I need help to get
rid of the queue on the BE server pointing to server XYZ. What do I
need to do on the server XYZ or on the BE server to get rid of this
queue. I can not continue to restart the WMI service on the BE server
all the time. PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!
