are you accessing the same domain controller from each place? mailbox
enumeration is an AD function.

If I am logged on interactively to the Exchange Server with my domain
account (that has permissions to the stores) ExMerge works fine.

But if I run ExMerge from my XP SP2 workstation (which has the Exchange
Admin tools installed) and logged in as the same account, I get an error
(Error Opening Message Store). It gets as far as enumerating the
databases, but can't enumerate the mailboxes.

Anyone have any suggestions?
