Go through the AD account. Ensure the name matches the alias or you just get
prompted for the username and password repeatedly. Not the greatest error
message in the world!!

I have one user that can not log in to the pop3 exchange server. The issue
when testing the connection all test pass except the connection to the
server. It keeps requesting that the user enter name and password. when
cancelled I get this message:
Log onto incoming mail server (pop3): Outlook could not connect to
incoming
POP3 mail server because server did not accept your user name or password.

The only thing that I can determine is diffrent is the exchange alias is
diffrent than the nt log in name. what else could be causing this issue?
