Re: Undeliverable messages from System Admin

I seem to be having a very similar problem. Can you be a little more detailed
on the method for fixing it? Users are getting NDRs from a long deleted user
when they schedule a meeting for another user

I was getting an NDR message saying that message reached user2
mailbox but delivery was refused after accepting a meeting request
sent by user1. Please note that user2 was deleted from the system a
while back ago.

So ultimately this was just a "ghost delegate" issue?

After troubleshooting I found that ACL for user2
still existed probably because user2 was setup as a delegate of
user1, therefore I ran MFCMAPI and removed not required ACL from the
active directory. The issue appears to be resolved. Hope this makes
sense.

Yes - thanks for posting back. You provided a lot of detail later that might
have helped you get more specific advice had you included it in your
original post, for future reference - glad you have it resolved.

Thank you.

No, the user is not over quota.

Let me see if I understand....you're getting NDRs sent to *you*
because someone internal to your server cannot successfully send
mail to this other internal mailbox? Do you have yourself set up to
receive a copy of all NDRs? Can you send a message to this user?
Is there a forward on this user's mailbox to another mailbox or
contact?

Is this user over quota?

I wonder why this is happening (?).

Is this an internal or Internet recipient?
