Hi,
Thank you for posting here! Please note the partner managed newsgroups are
staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals. Our goal is to provide
a one business day response to all posts.
Based on my research, the FFFFFC07 error appears to be an issue with
database and it could be error JET_errRecordDeleted in the pub.edb.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that we use the Isinteg tool to check
and fix the integrity problems with the public folder store. To do this:
1. Dismount the problematic public folder store through Exchange System
Manager.
2. Run the following command: "Isinteg -s <servername> -fix -test alltests"
(without the quotation marks)
Note: The <servername> is the netbios name of the Exchange server. Then we
can select to run against the problematic public folder store. You may need
to run this command multiple times until there is no error/warning
outputted.
3. After this, I recommend that we restart the problematic Exchange server
to test the issue again. My research shows that similar issues reported in
our internal database were resolved in this manner.
For more information about Isinteg, please refer to the following Microsoft
KB article:
Exchange Command-Line Parameters for the Isinteg.exe Tool
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=301460
At the same time, I would suggest that we install the latest update for
Exchange 2000 Server and test the issue again to see if it helps. For your
convenience, I have listed the link below:
Service Pack 3 for Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange 2000 Server Enterprise
Edition
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/downloads/2000/sp3/default.asp
Update Rollup for Exchange 2000 (KB870540)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=363A57A4-8BED-4BBB-
BBE4-ABC11AB04611&displaylang=en
If this issue still occurs, please help me collect the following
information for further research:
1. Can we view the Replication Status properly ever before? If so, when did
this issue first occur?
2. Please gather detailed information about your Exchange server. Run MPS
Report and send the output file to me.
You can download the tool from the link below:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_Exchange.EXE
(a) Run the .exe file on your problematic Exchange server.
(b) It will automatically gather information we need. Please wait for the
process end.
(c) Send the .cap file to me on the path
%SystemRoot%\MPSReports\Exchange\cab.
I understand the information may be sensitive to you. My working email
address is v-wweng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx You may send the file to me directly via
email and I will keep secure.
Thank you for your time. I'm looking forward to your reply.
Have a good day!
Thanks & regards,
Winfred Weng
