Out Of Office replies from specific Users

I want to enable Out of Office replies to the internet (I know how to
set this on Global Settings for the entire org so please do not respond
with that information) What I want to do is to be able to enable this
setting for certain users or possibly groups. It is possible that they
could have a specific (different) primary SMTP address.

So for most users I have the OOO turned off to the Internet.

I have a group that needs it because of client interactions say and
they want clients to know they are out and have contacts but I don't
want to turn it on for the whole Org.

Creating an Autoforward rule only allows me to send TO a specific
domain which does not work because I woul dhave to add all domains
which is not practical.

Anyone seen or tried to do this?

Thanks,
Kurt
