Backup using NTBackup?

I would like to schedule a full backup that overwrites previous backups of our mailbox stores using NTbackup, when I tried this it did not back up. I noticed that when I manually run a full backup that overwrites I ger prompted with "Are you sure you want to overwrite..." and have to click "yes" in order for it to proceed.
Is NTBackup able to schedule and run a full backup that overwrites the media?
Am I missing something?
