Hi All,

We have been using Net IRc1.2 in our office for the past few weeks.
We have installed the Microsoft Exchange 2000 in the Advanced server which
is a domain controller itself. Now that our aim is to have the password
authenticated login into the NetIrc. So what we did is added all the user
names in the server and gave the user names of 2000 Advanced server as the
nick names in Net Irc and enabled the option Basic Authenticatio and
unchecked the Anonymous access in the server.

After having made all the necessary changes, when we tried login into the
NetIrc after giving the nick name and password, it gave us an authenticaiton
failure error message. No one was able to login to the Net Irc.

I would like to have some suggestions and helps on how to acheive the
authenticated based logins on Net Irc. Also i would like to know if the user
names in the 2000 Advanced server is same as that of the nick names of Irc
or the Real names of Irc.

 Many Thanks
 Murugan Kalicharan S
