Have you remembered that Deleted Items and Mailbox Retention settings will
take up a lot of space? If a user deletes 100MB worth of mail one day, and
you have the setting set to retain it for 20 days, then the mailbox space
will not equal the IS size.

Also, we had a problem in that the online processes did not have time to do
their thing (identify free space) so we changed when it ran. Have you done
an offline defrag? You are going to have fun doing that too, as you are
going to need about 120-130GB free space to do it.

I'm curious too. With files that big, how long do they take to back up?
