Thanks for posting that. I see a couple issues that can cause this mess.
Your domain is a single label name, unless you munged the domain name for
the purpose of your posting it. I also see that the Primary DNS Suffix are
different for each machine. I am assuming that both of these machines belong
to the same domain. so therefore, the Primary DNS Suffix MUST BE THE same.
The Primary DNS SUffix is what dictates the netlogon service to register
create the netlogon.dns file with all the SRV data and then register that
data into DNS under that same exact zone name. If the zone is a single label
name and you have W2k with SP4 or newer or W2k3, single label name
registration is not allowed.

Here's more info on the single label name issue:

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=300684

826743 - Clients cannot dynamically register DNS records in a single-label
forward lookup zone:

I also see that on the first machine your DNS entry is 127.0.0.1. That
should reflect the actual IP and not that loopback. Seems that DCPROMO put
that there for you.

So... what should your AD domain name be?

Charisma, we need to fix AD first here before even attempting to touch
Exchange. Exchange is reliant on AD's functioning properly. IF your domain
is a single label name, and depending on what mode it's in, there are
different solutions for either reinstalling the domain or renaming it. As
for the Primary DNS Suffix, there's a script you can run found at this link
below. It will set it based on what it finds AD's DNS domain name to be. But
if it's a single label name, then we';re still going to have issues.

Does Not Match Domain Name:
