what ? there are no way to setup Exchange to reject ESMTP and only
accept pure SMTP ?
I'm not trying to improve any security. I'm currently having problems
with emails using binary transfer (XEXCH50 command used in place of
DATA command).
one option is that the problem is with the filtering anti-virus front
end which is between the internet and our server, but security guys
say 'no' and want me to prove it.
so I wanted to setup Exchange in pure SMTP mode to see if the problem
persists or not.
