Tracert is using ICMP to test connectivity, and some hosts just have
blocked response to ICMP (ping) requests, so you may get failures even
if connectivity is OK. Give us specifics (send name of your domain to my
e-mail address, if you are uncomfortable with posting it here) so that
we can try different tests directly (not involving you and somebody else
at remote location). Also take a look at this article
