It has changed with Exchange 200x. You can no longer separate the OWA
portion like you did in Exchange 5.5. What you need to think about is
implementing what is known as an Exchange 'front-end' server. The link
below is for the front-end whitepaper.

Also, seriously consider NOT putting the front-end in the DMZ. You need a
hell of a lot of ports open between the DMZ and the internal network, which
doesn't make for the most secure config. The recommended approach is to put
ISA server in the DMZ and publish the OWA service via the front-end on the
internal network. That way, you only need a single port open across the
firewall (normally this is HTTP port 80, but it's also recommended to bridge
SSL across this connection meaning only HTTPS port 443).
