No, it's not going to work right away. Exchange (5.5 at least) takes a
while to propagate such changes through its store. My experience is no
longer than five minutes, though. It does take effect through.
This is usually more pronounced with multiple servers joined through slow
(such as VPN over DSL/Cable) connections.
