We have Windows 2000 active directory--native mode.
We have Exchange 2000 SP3 - native mode.
When we create user accounts the email addresses are not being created and
the global address list is not being updated.
We have tried to manually update RUS. Also tried rebuilding RUS.
Checked WINS, DNS SRV records, etc., ran dcdiag and netdiag and passed all
tests.
Verified that exchange server is using LDAP port 389 for directory service
access.
We are also routinely getting the following Information event in the
Exchange 2000 Application Log:
No other dialog messages
"LDAP Result failed to receive a response from directory 'server.domain'
within 30 minutes."
I have researched this with no luck. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
