    Dear all,

I have exchange 2k enterprise site with two exch servers.
Our active dir is single label and contains 3 DC's.
DC1 is win2k sp3 and runs FSMO roles RID, scheme, domain name, GC.
DC2 is win2k sp4 and runs FSMO role Infra master
DC3 is win2k sp4 and runs FSMO role PCD em and is also a GC.

Horrible config i know ... not to blame and am rebuilding soon (oh joy but
at least it will be correct ;0) .Prior to migration to new domain I am trying
to resolve (if possible) any errors.
My exchange servers both report Event id 2102 errors stating that the DC's
within the domain are not available. These occur roughly every 30 mins

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: MSExchangeDSAccess
    Event Category: Topology
    Event ID: 2102
    Date: 10/12/2004
    Time: 10:08:59 AM
    User: N/A
    Computer: mailserver1
    Description:
Process MAD.EXE (PID=1520). All Domain Controller Servers in use are not
    responding:
    DC1.domain
    DC2.domain
    DC3.domain

    For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

The DC's always appear to be there and we don't have any 'noticable' impact
on the exchange site or domain.

Can anyone please shed any light on this error, is it actually an error or
is it some kind of timed out response?

    Thanks in advance.

    Nick
