Mark
Thank you for all your responses. I have an important conf call tomorrow
and I am prepared.
But, I could not find anything on the Inet to how storage groups were
organized. With E2K3, I organized databases according to groups, ie,
engineering has a db; sales and marketing a db but I am not sure if this is
the way to go with E2K7.
So any info you can provide on how NetApp has their databases or storage
groups organized would be so much appreciated.
And to all who responded many thanks and if you want to join in on this one,
I welcome any ideas!

Is this true?
about maintenance utilities.
Bottom line is that if you're running a direct attached solution you
should have the restore LUN because you need it. If you are running on
a SAN there are two aspects. 1) You probably don't need it because
there will be enough space to dynamically assign it on a temporary
basis if you need it. 2) You probably won't need to use the RSG anyway
if you have a SnapShot based solution.
If you are having an internal debate about such an insignificant part
of the overall calculations you should probably just assign one.
