Mark
Thank you and yes I am overthinking because I am attempting to make good
decisions for my company for E2K7.
I have 12 E2K3 servers worldwide and over 1500 mbs and I am the only Exch
Admin in my company.
Thank goodness for all who replied to my other post regarding DAS/SAN

I have read the past posts on Storage Configuration. It's not complex at all really. The trick is not to over think it. The
I am currently using the newest mailbox storage calc spread*** and I have
read hundreds of pages of technet; white papers, etc. and yet storage config
for E2K7 is complexxxxxxx.....
However, I need to understand the Restore LUN.
When I configure the Storage Groups do I need to create a drive for this LUN?
many thanks -harri
'restore LUN' is just somewhere for the RSG to go. All you need is
enough disk, somewhere, anywhere, to work with the RSG should you ever
need to use it. Use drive letters or mount points, it doesn't matter.
