Well consider this and then tell me so. All my outside references DNS, email
website etc are hcibooks.com. Everything points to a firewall which nats
into the domain via tcp/ip

I only have to be concerned with the inside because we have no Public DNS
servers. All DNS is set up via forwarders. HCI_DOMAIN isn't outside.

So i only need to rename 2 DC's one exchange server - member server and the
rest are just member servers.

do you still feel that way?

You bet. I looked at your certificate and your DNS. You do not need to
change the domain name. There is nothing wrong. As you were told by MB
lots of people operate the way you are doing.
